I finally figured out how to use the bottle of Essence magnetic polish which I received from Ivana last week. The trick is to find a strong enough magnet to get the magnetic particles in the polish moving.

First tip in choosing a magnet is placing it against the bottle of the polish. If the polish instantly turns stripey even through the glass, that indicates that it would probably so the same on your nails.

After shaking the bottle well, apply just one thick coat of polish and immediately place the magnet just above your nail for about 10 seconds. Hopefully some contrasting stripes will form.

Mine didn’t form quite as well as I wanted it to be, but stripes did form immediately after I placed my regular round fridge magnet over the wet polish.
